About Carol

Carol Damoth Handelsman, M.A., LLP., CHTP. has 18 years experience in clinical psychology, treating children, adolescents, adults and families. She has incorporated Healing Touch, CranioSacral Therapy, and Reiki Energy Medicines into her treatment protocol options. Carol received her training at The University of Michigan, Wayne State University, The Colorado Center for Healing Touch, The Center for Hands on Healing and The Whole Life Integrations Institute. Carol teaches classes in Energy Medicine, speaks extensively on the holistic approach to wellness and see clients in her private practice in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is a member of The American Psycological Association, Healing Touch International, and The Association for Complementary Energy Psychology.

Carol Damoth is committed to quality care and practices in accordance with Healing Touch International's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. In doing so she recognizes that Energy Medicine complements but does not replace traditional and other forms of health care.

Although Energy Medicine and psychological therapy each provides a benefit when used alone, Carol has found that using the theories and methods of the two disciplines better enables her to provide support and lend clarity to individuals on their journey toward health and wholeness.
